| As
a citizen of the United States, I am more fortunate than most others in
the world. I live in a free country, I have a roof over my head,
food on the table and a family that loves me unconditionally. "When to Take Action" is about those people in this world that are not as fortunate as I. Its about making a difference, its about getting up and doing something to improve the lives of others without the expectation of a returned favor. I do not assume. I do not assume that someone else will come to the aid of those in need; I do not assume that my family knows how much I love them; I do not assume that the great tragedies of today will be solved by someone else.....They will be solved by those who TAKE ACTION, I WILL TAKE ACTION! I have listed a number of website links below that address the most pressing issues of our time. Take a look. For a change, don't just read and feel sorry for those less fortunate, make a difference for one of these causes or one of your choosing. Don't assume that the problems of the world will be taken care of by others and don't assume that the world's problems are not your problems. When you are on your death bed, you won't be thinking of how much money you made, what car you drove, how big your house is; you will be thinking about your family, and how you stopped worrying about materialism and took action to change the world.
