believe that traveling is vital to understanding the world we live in.
Traveling has given me a great sense of humbleness. I have
met people who have never set foot outside their home-town all the way
to those who have traveled to every continent on the planet. In
my observation (not to generalize), those who have traveled extensively
have a much deeper understanding of the world as a whole. You can read a book about the Incan Ruins of Machu Picchu, Peru or watch a documentary about the Old City of Jerusalem, but until you have hiked to the top of the Sun Temple at the mouth of the Amazon River and stood at the Kotel on a Friday evening (Western Wall) in Jerusalem, you just cannot understand, you will not understand.
